In case you didn’t notice, my name is Jacki… I’m currently a 21 year old college student enrolled at UMBC (University of Maryland, Baltimore Campus/County… depends on who you ask). I am working for a graphic design major with a minor in photography, and maybe even art history.

A little about me… let’s see… I’m a Navy brat. I was born in Pensacola, Florida and moved a few times before ending up in Maryland, where I currently reside. I’ve also lived in Maine and Italy. Once we moved to Maryland, we were pretty much sucked into the vortex called St. Mary’s County.  It sounds like a bad thing, but I guess it depends on who you ask. It basically means, once you move there, you’re stuck there one way or another. Grow to love it…

I was pretty much raised around horses. Between my mother and myself, we have 3 horses, two Thoroughbred mares and a Quarter Horse. My horse is the 16 hand bay TB mare. High and Dry is the name. I haven’t really had the chance to ride lately… it’s more of a warm weather gig for me.

Other than the horses, my pets include, Honey, my boxer/border collie mutt, Max, my Sugarglider, Frick and Frack, my two beta fish, and an unnamed kitten (My step-sister’s cat recently had 3 kittens, one of which I’m keeping, still too young to decide), along with Siku and Sable, 2 one year old pups of Honey, they’re mixed with a Siberian Husky (beautiful girls, if you’d like one, let me know, lol). Those last two are being kept at my father’s house until I figure out what to do with them. I can only have so many animals where I am now… I’m already pushing the limits (Sorry Seth!).

I have this blonde girl that follows me around sometimes, who gets sort-of annoying every now and then, jk… That would be my best friend, Britney. We’ve been friends for about 11-12 years by now… but once you hit a certain point, you just have to stop counting…

I also have a wonderful boyfriend named Nick. We’ve been friends for close to 7 years, but recently started dating this past New Years (What a way to bring in 2006!). I’d like to think it was the right way to do things. I know I couldn’t be happier!

Anyway, enough is enough for an introduction! Go check out the rest of the site!
